Gregory and Romie Nottage
At the heart of LEN’s mission are its leaders, Gregory Nottage, CEO, and Romie Nottage, COO—a team whose lived experience, professional expertise, and shared commitment to equity drive the organization forward.
Gregory brings more than 12 years of experience working with individuals impacted by systemic and institutionalized trauma. Wrongfully incarcerated for nearly two decades, Gregory transformed his time in prison into an opportunity to mentor, educate, and create lasting change. He co-founded The Ironwood Project, which opened pathways for incarcerated individuals to earn college degrees, and helped develop substance abuse and self-help programs that reached thousands.
Upon his release in 2014, Gregory transitioned his passion for service into leadership roles across housing and workforce development. He served as Intake Coordinator for Options Recovery Services before joining Community Housing Partnership, where he was promoted to Senior Programs Director, overseeing a team of 56 staff across 11 supportive housing buildings, directly serving over 1,000 residents. In 2021, Gregory became Executive Director of Streets Team Enterprises, where he expanded social enterprise initiatives to create employment opportunities for over 1,000 individuals re-entering the workforce. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to restorative justice, workforce innovation, and economic empowerment for marginalized communities.
Romie is a seasoned psychotherapist and program strategist with extensive experience in community mental health, trauma-informed care, and organizational leadership. She is the founder of the T.R.E.E. Method, an integrative therapeutic approach designed to help individuals—particularly those impacted by institutionalization and complex trauma—heal and thrive. Romie has worked across the San Francisco Bay Area in behavioral health leadership roles, designing sustainable programs that prioritize individualized support, equity, and workforce development. At LEN, she is passionate about cultivating meaningful career pathways for employees and building a work culture where people feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow.
Together, Gregory and Romie embody LEN’s belief that talent, when nurtured and empowered, transforms communities. Their leadership reflects a deep commitment to bridging opportunity gaps, supporting marginalized communities, and delivering staffing solutions that benefit both employees and employers.
