30+ Years of Talent, Trust, and Transformation.

Founded 32 years ago by the incredible husband-and-wife team, Nancy and Tom, LEN began as a school dedicated to helping immigrants learn English and build brighter futures. Over the past 12 years, their mission expanded to providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals reentering the workforce.

LEN has been connecting people to meaningful careers in the housing sector—while helping businesses access a skilled, reliable, and diverse workforce. Starting at the entry-level position of Front Desk Clerk, our employees have grown into Property Managers, Area Directors of Operations, and beyond—proving that with the right training, support, and opportunity, potential can become real success.

LEN has a long-standing partnership with Mercy Housing, creating a staffing pipeline that benefits both our employees and our partners. Many of Mercy Housing’s leaders began their careers with LEN, a testament to our commitment to developing talent that thrives—and delivers results.

A New Era of Opportunity

In 2025, LEN entered a new chapter under the leadership of Gregory and Romie Nottage, who bring deep experience, passion, and lived understanding of overcoming systemic barriers.

Gregory Nottage, CEO, spent nearly 20 years wrongfully incarcerated and used that time to mentor and educate others, helping thousands of people transform their lives. After his release, he led large housing programs in San Francisco, supporting over 1,000 formerly homeless individuals and families. Today, he guides LEN with the same mission: to turn employment into opportunity, purpose, and growth—for employees and customers alike.

Romie Nottage, COO, is a seasoned psychotherapist and founder of the T.R.E.E. Method, helping people heal from trauma and reclaim their identity. She brings expertise in program strategy, workforce development, and trauma-informed care—ensuring that every opportunity at LEN empowers individuals to grow personally and professionally.
